What we are building
Career discovery that feels like a game, not a form.
guidu is a career discovery and transition app. You play for a few minutes, get a portrait of yourself, find professions that fit you and the study path that leads there — and then you try those professions out in short episodes, before deciding.
Our first audience is people choosing a degree right now, in Brazil, with the national exam ahead of them. Discovering is free; the subscription exists for those who want to go further. And one rule is not up for negotiation: nothing essential to understanding yourself sits behind a paywall.
Why now
The choice is still made in the dark.
Every year thousands of students pick a degree without ever having seen up close the profession that degree promises. The information exists, but it is scattered, written in grown-up language and disconnected from who the person is. The result shows up later: switching courses, dropping out, and the feeling of having started out wrong.
guidu brings together the three things that usually live apart — who the person is, what the market asks for and what the work is really like — in a place a teenager actually wants to come back to.
